After Lille's match, head coach José Mourinho called for "40,000 people to be ready at Kadıköy" for the return leg. The passionate Fenerbahçe fans, with the 12th Man role, didn’t wait for Tuesday; they packed the stands for the Adana Demirspor match. It's worth noting that Fenerbahçe hasn’t won the league title in more than a decade. If they were to clinch it finally, a larger stadium might be necessary.

This season, the Yellow-Navy Blues didn’t overindulge in transfers. Instead, they made precise additions in certain areas. However, the absence of Fred in the midfield is concerning. The Brazilian hasn’t experienced this many injuries in his previous teams, sparking discussions about his frequent absences at Fenerbahçe.

As for Mourinho, a coach who has won trophies at nearly every club he’s managed, predicting his success at Fenerbahçe is challenging. Yet, given his experience and tactical acumen, his chances of succeeding are high. Still, factors like adaptation and long-term stability shouldn’t be overlooked.

Adana Demirspor’s performance was lackluster; they played rough and wasted time until they conceded. Referee Atilla Karaoğlan's constant interruptions and questionable card decisions only heightened tensions. Mourinho made the right move and named Irfan Can at the starting 11. Tadic switched to number 10, so a more productive understanding of game emerged.

The hot weather and packed schedule hindered the expected tempo, but new signing Maximin showed promising potential. Dzeko’s goal was a standout moment—his control, dribble, and assist were worthy of applause.

Starting the league with three points is positive, but now all eyes are on the upcoming Europa League match against Lille.
