What Happened?
Last Saturday, former President Trump was shot at during a rally in Pennsylvania while addressing his supporters from the stage. The attack resulted in the death of one rally attendee and the injury of two others.
The U.S. Secret Service reported that the shooter, who fired multiple shots from a high vantage point outside the rally area, was neutralized.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) classified the incident as an assassination attempt.
Following their investigation, the FBI identified the assailant, who was killed at the scene, as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks.
