Scaffolding collapse in Switzerland: 3 dead, 8 injured

A scaffolding collapse at a construction site in Lausanne, Switzerland, has resulted in the deaths of three workers and injuries to eight others, four of them seriously.

The incident occurred on the exterior scaffolding of a 19-story building under construction in Lausanne.

Emergency services, including police and medical teams, were dispatched to the scene.

Investigation Launched

Authorities confirmed that three workers had died and a total of eight were injured, with four sustaining serious injuries.

The cause of the scaffolding collapse remains unknown, and an investigation has been initiated.
