According to The Kathmandu Post, a plane carrying 19 people crashed while taking off from Tribhuvan International Airport in Nepal's capital, Kathmandu.
18 PEOPLE DEAD
Subash Jha, spokesperson for Tribhuvan International Airport, stated that 18 bodies have been recovered from the Saurya Airlines plane, and the pilot has been taken to the hospital.
Eyewitnesses told The Kathmandu Post that the plane started its takeoff from the southern part of the runway, and as its wingtip hit the ground, it suddenly flipped.
