Ahmet Süha Umar: Our friend Trump

Mr. President,

I congratulate you for your election success and wish you a quiet and fruitfull second term even though your first term makes it rather doubtful.

I have to admit that you speak your heart. I appreciate people who are clear in what they say. Thus one does not waste time to reckon.

We never met but I understand that you were too busy in making money and chasing beautiful women and had no spare time to read books or study the world affairs. This of course is a serious minus for the President of America who pretends to be the ruler of the world. Believe me Mr. President, the world is much more a complex place or “globe” if you such prefer, than you can imagine. You are further handicapped by your close  entourage. They are not only ignorant of world matters but biased and have minds that do not belong to this world. They are like children who have been given a new smart telephone or a laptop to play games to their liking.

And you behave like a “Wild Cowboy”. I used to be fond of cowboys in my youth. My friends call me “Cowboy” or “Sherif” since my secondary school years. However, the courageous “Good Cowboys” we admired were Gary Cooper of “The High Noon”; John Wayne of Alamo; Clint Eastwood of “The good, the Bad and the Ugly” and even Steve McQueen who were always on the side of the right and the weak.   You are not like them. I admit that you are a big frustration for me and a wrong example for cowboys. By the way, it is good humor that you nailed your photo which resembles a “Wanted” sign in any Wild West sherif office, to the entrance of the Oval Office!

Mr. President,

Failed individuals even thugs and criminals all over Europe came together and founded the USA only a couple of hundred years ago. China, the country you take as the first adversary of America is a civilisation of at least couple of thousand years. Call the ex Chief of the CIA, my friend James (Jim) Woolsey to tell you how they found out while in China with President Nixon that China is a long standing civilisation which thinks and plans not in terms of a couple of years but in millenia. Turkish, Russian, Iranian and Egyptian civilisations do not lag behind. So they desire at least some respect from America which is not  a match even for Inca, Aztec and Maya civilisations of American continent. You should also be prudent with these mature civilisations. It is not easy to cope with them and no one was able to do it till today.

I see that you are inclined to support rightwing, “Fascist” parties and autocratic, despotic politcians in Europe. I would like to remind you what this type of politicians, represented by Hitler and Mussolini and such policies had cost Europe and the mankind. Don’t play with fire. It will burn you too!    

Mr. President,

I advice you to watch you language too. Not only when you deal with other countries and peoples but even more in the US. When you say that you are against wars and will terminate ongoing ones, keep in mind the American Deep State, “Miiltary-Industrial Complex”. It is only a few weeks since you took over the Presidency but I can see that some resistance to what you say and do is already mounting. Judges and prosecuters resign; States refuse to implement the decrees you sign; rabbies publish declarations against your Gaza dreams. Your NATO partners are becoming uneasy. You should not forget that your country has this strange! habit of bringing presidents to justice and even refer to impeachment procedure. I am sure that you regret that you are  not the President of Türkiye who has all the power but immune to any sanction be it legal or political.  Ask your friend who you had insulted in the past how he did this. Maybe he will reveal the trick.

Last but not least Mr. President, Miss Paula Whlte is not right if it is she who made you believe that the kings, sultans or presidents are the shadows of God on earth or sent by God! No such thing exists. If you believe that you are “The King” even this will not save you. Thus the moment you claimed it the Governor of New York immediately said that “America is the land of laws. We don’t have kings here.” 

Be clever Mr. President! Try to have some knowledgable and reliable people to guide you in the right direction to survive long enough as President to MAS (Make America Small) . This will be a great service to the world. This is why I find you useful. Don’t fail me.
