Israel arrests director of Shifa hospital
Muhammad Abu Selmiya, the director of Shifa Hospital in Gaza, has been arrested by Israeli forces.
Selmiya, along with other health personnel, was detained during Israel's intense assault on Gaza, targeting the hospital.
Khaled Abu Samra, a department head at Shifa Hospital, told AFP, 'Dr. Muhammad Abu Selmiya was arrested with several senior doctors.'
Israeli Forces Conduct Raid
On the morning of November 15, the Israeli military raided Shifa Hospital, the largest medical facility in Gaza, which serves thousands of patients and displaced civilians.
Following the raid, Israel's presentation of rusty weapons and a few cameras allegedly found in the building, instead of tunnels and ammunition caches, sparked criticism.
