Elon Musk announces removal of CrowdStrike from systems
Billionaire Elon Musk, owner of companies such as Tesla, SpaceX, and X, has announced that CrowdStrike has been removed from their systems following a global software issue.
In a post on his X account, Musk stated, "We have removed CrowdStrike from all our systems."
In another post, Musk mentioned, "Unfortunately, many of our suppliers and logistics companies use this." He responded to Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella's post on the matter, saying it "opens a new tab in the automotive supply chain."
Satya Nadella had shared on X, "Yesterday, CrowdStrike released an update that began affecting IT systems globally. We are aware of this issue and are working closely with CrowdStrike and the industry to provide technical guidance and support to help customers bring their systems back online safely."
Meanwhile, U.S. media reports indicated that Tesla had halted some production lines in Texas and Nevada due to the global software issue.
The global software problem, caused by disruptions in CrowdStrike's systems, has negatively impacted businesses worldwide, affecting many regions today.
