British premier reaffirms unwavering support for Ukraine following calls with Trump, Zelenskyy
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer reiterated his steadfast support Friday for Ukraine amid the conflict with Russia, following separate calls with US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to a spokesperson from Downing Street, Starmer “retains unwavering support for Ukraine and is doing all he can to find a path forward to a lasting peace based on sovereignty and security for Ukraine.
"The prime minister looks forward to hosting international leaders on Sunday including President Zelenskyy," he added.
Starmer remarks came after a heated war of words with Trump and US Vice President JD Vance, who repeatedly accused the embattled leader of being ungrateful for Americans' support in Kyiv's war effort.
The highly undiplomatic played out as Zelenskyy sought to defend his handling of the more than three-year conflict with Russia.
Zelenskyy departed the White House following the public spat. A planned signing ceremony for a deal on critical minerals and news conference were canceled.
