Following his debate with Republican rival Donald Trump yesterday, President Biden continued his campaign. At a rally in Raleigh, North Carolina, Biden indicated that the U.S. is at risk, alluding to Trump. He told his supporters, "The United States will bow to no one. We will stand against dictators. Above all, we will protect, preserve, and defend our democracy. That is what this election is about."

Reflecting on yesterday's debate, Biden emphasized that Trump repeatedly lied on stage. When the crowd chanted "Lock him up," referring to Trump, Biden responded, "There will be time for that."

"I Can't Walk as Easily as I Used To"

Addressing criticism about his age, Biden said, "I know I'm not a young man. I can't walk as easily as I used to. I can't speak as clearly or debate as well as I once did. But I know what I know very well. I know how to tell the truth, distinguish right from wrong, and do this job. I know what millions of Americans know: When you fall, you get back up. If I didn't believe with all my heart and soul that I could do this job, I wouldn't run again."
