Diplomatic sources report that Turkey's intense diplomatic efforts have successfully evacuated nearly 500 Turkish and TRNC (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus) citizens from Gaza so far.

In coordination with relevant Egyptian institutions, Turkey is also establishing a local supply infrastructure in Egypt to streamline the transfer of thousands of tons of food aid to Gaza. This effort aims to make future aid delivery to Gazans more sustainable and efficient.

Continuous discussions are underway between Turkish and Egyptian officials to support these initiatives.

Turkey has entered the final stage of preparations to establish a field hospital in Gaza, aiming to treat tens of thousands of injured civilians. Officials from relevant institutions are expected to conduct technical inspections in Gaza soon for this purpose.

With the onset of cooler weather and winter conditions, Turkish officials are working to address the urgent needs of Gazan families. This includes deploying containers for shelter and establishing container cities in Gaza. Feasibility studies for this project are being conducted in collaboration with the Qatar administration, focusing on humanitarian aid delivery from Turkey to Gaza.

Yasin Ekrem Serim, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Münir Karaloğlu, Deputy Minister of Interior, recently visited Egypt. Their visit included discussions about additional humanitarian aid to Gaza and on-site assessments of the ongoing evacuation of Turkish citizens. In Cairo, they met with Egyptian Deputy Foreign Ministers, representatives of the Egypt Red Crescent, and Disaster and Emergency authorities. Their visit extended to El-Arish city and the Rafah Border Gate, where they evaluated the delivery of Turkish humanitarian aid and the evacuation process.

Deputy Minister Serim, who has been overseeing the evacuation operations at the Rafah Border Gate, stated that Turkey has been working since the beginning of the crisis to assist the people in Gaza and facilitate the safe evacuation of Turkish citizens. He emphasized that ongoing negotiations at various platforms aim to find a lasting solution to the problem. Serim also expressed gratitude to Egyptian authorities for their collaboration, reaffirming Turkey's commitment to ensuring the swift evacuation of those still waiting in Gaza.
