Inspecting the final preparations at the soon-to-open Istanbul House with İmamoğlu, Özel shared his thoughts on their visit:

"There's nothing about the congress here; we've always been together. We will continue to be together. With Mansur Yavaş on my right and Ekrem İmamoğlu on my left, this team is unbeatable. We came today as a full team, watched the national team, and had a great time. Could the three of us ever be separated? Until we restore democracy in Turkiye and bring Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's party back to power, this trio will continue to work together."

"I BELIEVE YOUNG PEOPLE WILL STOP THE AK PARTY"

Özel expressed his frustration about the Instagram ban affecting Turks even in Paris and highlighted his hope in young voters for the next election:

"Those coming from Turkiye find Instagram is also blocked here. Extra effort is needed. Thanks to Tayyip Bey, our phones are cursed; they don't work here either. In Paris, only the Instagram accounts of Turks who were in Turkiye when the ban happened are affected. It's a disgraceful situation, unacceptable, and young people are very angry about it. I see such incidents as important because young people see the logic behind them. Those who ban festivals, concerts, restrict journalists who report critically, and prevent artists from performing unless they support the government have reached this point. Young people taught them a lesson in the last election, but they didn't understand. I hope that in the next election, young people will not only teach them a lesson but will also hand them their walking papers. I believe the young people voting now and those who will vote in the next election will permanently stop Tayyip Erdoğan and the AK Party. Banning Instagram? Young people will ban them from politics. Then we’ll see how serious they can be in the comfort of Paris, even in civilian clothes."
