Denial of Allegations

Wesley Sneijder, who played for Galatasaray in Turkey, has refuted claims linking him to the Comanchero crime syndicate.

"I Didn't Make Money, I Lost Money"

In a social media statement, the Dutch footballer stated, "Since early this morning, various media outlets, especially in Turkey, have published reports about me that do not reflect the truth. I came into contact with the mentioned company through some intermediaries in the past. The individuals representing this company portrayed it as a reputable firm, which gained my trust. Subsequently, I legally and transparently purchased shares from this company, with all transactions documented. However, since the time of my investment, I have not made any profit and, in fact, have incurred losses."

"No Charges Against Me"

Sneijder continued, "I have no decision-making role in the management of this company. No legal authority has charged me with any crime related to this matter."

"I Have No Involvement in Money Laundering"

Wesley Sneijder added, "As if being a victim of this process wasn't enough, seeing such news spread in my second home, Turkey, has deeply saddened me. 'Money laundering' is probably the last term that should be associated with my name. I want to inform the public that these reports are completely false and that I will seek legal action if necessary. I address this to the people of the Netherlands and Turkey, and to the public at large, with respect."

Sneijder concluded his statement with assurances to both Dutch and Turkish communities, reiterating his innocence and commitment to legal recourse against the misleading information.
