Turkish representatives' opponents in UECL announced!
The play-off round opponents for our representatives Beşiktaş, Trabzonspor, and Başakşehir in the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League have been determined.
In the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round, Switzerland's Lugano faced off against Serbia's Partizan.
The Swiss team Lugano, who advanced past this round, will be Beşiktaş's opponent. Lugano, who won the first leg 1-0, played to a 2-2 draw at home in a match that went into extra time.
Earlier this season, Lugano lost to Fenerbahçe in the Champions League qualifiers. Last season, they faced Beşiktaş in the UEFA Europa Conference League group stage, winning away but losing at home.
Trabzonspor to Face St. Gallen
In the UEFA Europa Conference League third qualifying round, Slask and St. Gallen competed for a spot in the next round.
Having been eliminated by Rapid Wien in the Europa League qualifiers, Trabzonspor earned the right to compete in the Conference League play-off round.
St. Gallen, who progressed after a 2-0 home win and a 3-2 loss away, will now face Trabzonspor in the play-offs.
Başakşehir's Opponent is St. Patrick's
Başakşehir's opponent in the UEFA Conference League play-off round will be Ireland's St. Patrick's Athletic.
The Irish team, who defeated Azerbaijan's Sabah 1-0 in both legs of the third qualifying round, will now meet Başakşehir in the play-off round.
The first leg of the tie will take place on Thursday, August 22, in Ireland, with the return leg scheduled for August 29 in Istanbul.
