Turkish archery team wins bronze at Paris 2024!
The Turkish Men's Recurve Team, comprising Mete Gazoz, Ulaş Berkim Tümer, and Muhammed Abdullah Yıldırmış, won the bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games by defeating China in the third-place match.
A Historic Victory
Competing at Les Invalides in Paris, the Turkish team, consisting of Mete Gazoz, Muhammed Abdullah Yıldırmış, and Ulaş Berkim Tümer, faced off against the Chinese team represented by Wenchao Kao, Zhongyuan Li, and Yan Wang.
Match Highlights
The Turkish team won the first set 55-54, lost the second set 57-56, and then triumphed in the third and fourth sets 55-54 and 56-54, respectively, securing a 6-2 victory and the bronze medal.
A First in History
This victory marks Turkey's first medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics and the first-ever team medal in Turkish archery history.
