Three-point deduction for 1st League team didn't show up for the match!
The Professional Football Disciplinary Committee (PFDK) has handed Yeni Malatyaspor a three-point deduction as a penalty for not appearing on the field in the scheduled match against Pendikspor in their official match attire.
The PFDK ruled that Yeni Malatyaspor would forfeit the match against Siltaş Yapı Pendikspor with a 3-0 loss and would also be penalized with a three-point deduction.
In a statement from the Turkish Football Federation (TFF), it was announced: "Due to Yeni Malatyaspor's failure to take the field in their match attire at the scheduled and announced time during the YENİ MALATYASPOR-PENDİKSPOR FUTBOL A.Ş. Trendyol 1. Lig match on 10.08.2024, it has been decided that the team will be deemed to have lost the match by default (0-3) and will be penalized with a three-point deduction."
