Following speculation that Fenerbahçe's Ferdi Kadıoğlu might be leaving the team after he saluted the fans following the Adana Demirspor match, the club has issued a statement addressing the rumors.
After Fenerbahçe's 1-0 victory over Adana Demirspor, rumors quickly circulated suggesting that Ferdi Kadıoğlu’s gesture towards the fans indicated a farewell.
FERDİ KADIOĞLU SALUTES THE FANS
During the match and as he was substituted, Ferdi Kadıoğlu was seen acknowledging the supporters, leading to speculation that he might be on his way out of the club. Fenerbahçe's First Team Media Officer Alper Yemeniciler responded to the rumors via social media.
"RUMORS OF A 'FAREWELL' ARE NOT TRUE"
In his statement, Yemeniciler clarified, "The comments suggesting that our player Ferdi Kadıoğlu 'bade farewell' are not true. He simply responded to the affection of our fans by saluting them. It was nothing more than a standard post-match wave."
