Philadelphia 76ers triumph over Timberwolves 127-113
Joel Embiid led the Philadelphia 76ers to a 127-113 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves with a season-high 51 points on Wednesday.

Embiid dominated the game with 51 points, 12 rebounds, and three assists. Tyrese Maxey also shone, scoring 35 points, including 15 in the final quarter alone, at the Wells Fargo Center.
"I felt like I was playing within the offense and not forcing anything," Embiid said, celebrating his seventh career game with at least 50 points. "I took what was being given to me. And I've been trying to figure out when to be aggressive and when to let my teammates do their thing."
Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with 27 points, and Karl-Anthony Towns added 23 points and 13 rebounds.
The 76ers currently hold third place in the Eastern Conference with 19 wins and eight losses, while the Timberwolves are at the top of the Western standings with 20 wins and six losses.
