The Gunners' triumph at the Emirates Stadium, secured by German striker Kai Havertz's goal in the 89th minute, vaulted them to first place. This development came as their closest competitors, Manchester City and Liverpool, ended their match in a 1-1 draw.

The game began with Alexander Isak giving Newcastle an early lead, only for Chelsea's Raheem Sterling to equalize. The first half concluded with a 1-1 draw at St. James' Park. Newcastle then stunned Chelsea with two quick goals from Jamaal Lascelles and Joelinton in the 60th and 61st minutes, respectively.
Anthony Gordon added the final goal in the 83rd minute, sealing Chelsea's fate. Following these matches, Arsenal leads the league with 30 points. Manchester City and Liverpool trail closely with 29 and 28 points, while Newcastle sits sixth with 23 points. Chelsea, meanwhile, occupies the 10th position with 16 points.
