National swimmer Kuzey Tunçelli became the European Champion

National swimmer Kuzey Tunçelli won the gold medal in the 1500-meter freestyle at the ongoing Aquatics European Championships in Serbia.

According to a statement released by the Turkish Swimming Federation, Kuzey took part in the 1500-meter freestyle final at the championships held at Milan Gale Muskatirovic Sports Hall in the capital Belgrade.

Finishing the final in first place with a time of 14.55.64, the national swimmer from Fenerbahce became the European champion.
