GS chairman's transfer statement: 'There is no delay'
Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek addressed the transfer process, reassuring fans that the club will soon make signings that will bring joy to the yellow-red supporters.
Speaking after the signing ceremony for the Süper Lig and TFF 1st League media broadcasting rights between the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) and beIN Media Group, President Özbek answered questions from the press.
Transfer Update
Discussing the transfer efforts, Dursun Özbek said, "We are working on this matter. Very soon, we will make transfers that will please our fans. There is no delay. If you look at our transfers from last season, they happened around the same time. As the management, our duty is to satisfy our fans and make transfers that enhance the viewing pleasure. We are working towards that. Hopefully, we will soon have news that will make them happy."
Upcoming Super Cup Match
Sharing his thoughts on the upcoming Super Cup match against Beşiktaş on Saturday, August 3, Özbek said, "I think it will be a beautiful and highly enjoyable match. If we start the season with a good match, it will continue in the same way. I wish for a season without incidents and injuries."

Expressing his hopes for the new broadcasting deal, Dursun Özbek said, "As clubs, I believe we should serve the success of the federation. Galatasaray will support the TFF in any situation that enhances the brand value of Turkish football. I wish for a season that elevates the brand value of Turkish football. I wish the new federation success. They are here to serve Turkish football. I am confident that İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu and his colleagues will fulfill this role excellently."
