Galatasaray's Mauro Icardi suspended for one game
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has suspended Galatasaray's Argentine forward Mauro Icardi for one match due to misconduct towards fans during the Ankaragucu versus Galatasaray game on February 18. Along with the suspension, the TFF fined Icardi 19,500 Turkish liras ($625).

Galatasaray secured a 3-0 victory against Ankaragucu in Ankara, with Icardi contributing to the scoreline. As a result of the suspension, Icardi will not participate in the upcoming Super Lig match against Bitexen Antalyaspor in Istanbul.
Icardi, formerly of Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain, has netted 20 goals in all competitions this season for Galatasaray, which is currently embroiled in a tight Super Lig title contest with their archrivals, Fenerbahce.
With a game in hand, Galatasaray sits second in the league with 69 points, while Fenerbahce leads with 70 points following their 2-1 win against Kasimpasa on Saturday.
