Galatasaray and Manchester United draw 3-3 in Champions League clash
Galatasaray rallied to a 3-3 draw at home against Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League's fifth week on Wednesday.
Manchester United initially led with Alejandro Garnacho's 11th-minute goal and Bruno Fernandes' long-range strike after seven minutes. Galatasaray then closed the gap with Hakim Ziyech's 29th-minute free-kick.
Despite Mauro Icardi's disallowed 43rd-minute goal, Galatasaray kept the pressure. Scott McTominay extended Manchester United's lead in the 55th minute, but Ziyech's second stunning free-kick and Kerem Akturkoglu's powerful strike in the 71st minute secured Galatasaray's comeback. Ziyech shone with two goals and an assist, leaving Galatasaray with five points and Manchester United trailing in Group A with four points.
