At the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, our national athlete Buse Savaşkan has qualified to compete in the women's high jump final with a jump of 1.92 meters.
Buse Savaşkan advanced to the final in the women's high jump at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
The women's high jump qualifications were held at Stade de France in Paris, the capital of France.
Competing in her first Olympics, Buse Savaşkan finished 8th in the qualifications with a performance of 1.92 meters, securing her place in the final.
Buse Savaşkan is the second Turkish athlete to reach the Olympic final in the women's high jump, following national athlete Burcu Ayhan, who competed in London 2012. Savaşkan will compete for a medal on Sunday, August 4.
