Football legend becomes President of Ukraine Football Federation
Football icon Andriy Shevchenko has been appointed as the President of the Ukraine Football Federation.

The Ukraine Football Federation announced the election of Andriy Shevchenko as its new president. The federation's statement revealed that Shevchenko, the sole candidate, was elected during a congress held in the capital, Kyiv.
A LEGEND IN UKRAINIAN FOOTBALL
During his playing career, 47-year-old Shevchenko celebrated numerous championships with Dynamo Kyiv, Milan, and Chelsea. After retiring, he took on the role of head coach for both the Ukraine National Team and Genoa.
Shevchenko, who scored 48 goals in 111 matches, also holds the title of the top scorer for the Ukraine National Team.
