First Teams Reach Round of 16 in EURO 2024
Germany and Switzerland's advance to the Round of 16 in the EURO 2024 have been decided.

In the third matches of Group A in the European Football Championship (EURO 2024), Hungary defeated Scotland with a single goal. Meanwhile, Germany drew 1-1 with Switzerland.
The match between Switzerland and Germany took place at Frankfurt Arena, officiated by Italian referee Daniele Orsato. Assisting him were Ciro Carbone and Alessandro Giallatini. The match ended in a 1-1 draw after a hard-fought contest. Switzerland's goal was scored by Dan Ndoye in the 28th minute, while Germany's equalizer came from Niclas Füllkrug in the 90+2nd minute.
With this result, Germany, the host nation, topped the group with 7 points and advanced to the Round of 16. Switzerland finished second in the group with 5 points, following Germany into the next stage.
