Faruk Koca released on bail after assaulting referee Halil Umut Meler
Former Ankaragücü President Faruk Koca, who attacked referee Halil Umut Meler, has been released on bail.

HE WAS ARRESTED ON DECEMBER 12
Faruk Koca had attacked referee Halil Umut Meler after the Super League's 15th match week game between Çaykur Rizespor and another team, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
After the final whistle of the match played at Eryaman Stadium, Faruk Koca entered the field and punched center referee Meler. Security forces surrounded Meler, who fell to the ground from the blow.
After this incident, Faruk Koca, who collapsed to the ground and appeared distressed for a while, was calmed down by the officials.
Faruk Koca was arrested and sent to prison on December 12th by the court after the incident of the attack.
