Ciro Immobile in Istanbul for Beşiktaş: "I'm ready to start the season"
Ciro Immobile, the star player with whom Beşiktaş has begun transfer negotiations, has arrived in Istanbul.
Following Rafa Silva and Gabriel Paulista, Beşiktaş is securing its third major signing with Lazio's renowned striker Ciro Immobile. The club announced the start of negotiations with Immobile via the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP). The Italian star flew from Rome to Istanbul.
The plane carrying the 34-year-old striker landed at Istanbul Atatürk Airport's General Aviation Terminal at approximately 12:35 a.m. Beşiktaş Vice President Hüseyin Yücel and Football Branch Manager Feyyaz Uçar accompanied Immobile, who was greeted by many Beşiktaş fans.
Arrives in New Kit
Notably, Immobile stepped off the plane wearing Beşiktaş's new season black jersey. It has also been confirmed that he will wear the number 17 jersey for the black-and-white team.

At the airport, Ciro Immobile expressed his excitement, saying, "I'm very happy to be here. I'm ready to start the season. This welcome has moved me deeply."

Beşiktaş Vice President Hüseyin Yücel stated, "This is a great day for Beşiktaş. Our fans deserve the best. We have kept our promise and will continue to do so. Our president, Hasan Arat, followed the process closely and supported us throughout. Thanks to the sacrifices made by Ciro, we completed this challenging transfer in just 48 hours."
