China takes the lead on day 15 of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games
At the end of Day 15 of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, China surged ahead of the United States in the medal standings, clinching 39 gold, 27 silver, and 24 bronze medals.
On the 15th day of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, China secured 6 gold and 1 bronze medal, bringing their total medal count to 90.
The United States finished the day with 5 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze medals, reaching a total of 122 medals. However, China’s superior gold medal count pushed the U.S. into second place.
Australia held onto third place with 18 gold, 18 silver, and 14 bronze medals, while Japan ended the day in fourth with 18 gold, 12 silver, and 13 bronze medals.
Turkiye Ranks 64th
After 15 days of competition, 90 countries and the Refugee Olympic Team have won medals. Turkiye is currently ranked 64th, with 3 silver and 5 bronze medals.
