Barcelona welcomes back Ricky Rubio for the season
Barcelona has confirmed the return of Spanish basketball star Ricky Rubio to the team. The 33-year-old guard is set to remain with Barcelona until the season's end.

Rubio took a break from basketball in August 2023 to focus on his mental health. In January, he declared the end of his NBA career, shifting his focus back to European basketball.
During his initial tenure with Barcelona, Rubio was instrumental in securing the team's second Turkish Airlines EuroLeague title in 2010 and a Liga ACB title in 2011, before embarking on his NBA journey. His NBA career spanned several teams, including the Minnesota Timberwolves, Utah Jazz, Phoenix Suns, and Cleveland Cavaliers.
