Anadolu Efes secures last-minute victory
In the 13th week of the Turkish Insurance Basketball Super League, Anadolu Efes narrowly defeated Türk Telekom 71-69. This crucial away game saw Anadolu Efes emerge victorious, maintaining their competitive edge.

The game began with both teams finding the net early, leading to a 9-9 tie in the first five minutes. Anadolu Efes and Türk Telekom continued to score from inside the paint, ending the first quarter with Anadolu Efes slightly ahead, 17-15.
Anadolu Efes started the second quarter with a strong defense, preventing Türk Telekom from scoring in the first three minutes. The home team, led by Okben Ulubay and Metehan Akyel, narrowed the gap to two points (24-26) by the 14th minute. Anadolu Efes, effective with under-the-basket plays and outside shots, went into halftime leading 41-33.
The third quarter saw both teams struggle to score, with Anadolu Efes holding a 45-38 lead at the 25-minute mark. However, Türk Telekom rallied, reducing the deficit to three points (48-51) by the 28th minute. The quarter ended with Anadolu Efes slightly ahead, 51-50.
Anadolu Efes began the final quarter strong, extending their lead to 11 points (57-66) by the 36th minute. Türk Telekom then tightened their defense and found success with outside shots, closing the gap to three points (66-69) with just 1 minute and 28 seconds remaining. Despite a tense finale, Anadolu Efes held on to win 71-69.
With this win, Anadolu Efes claimed their 11th victory of the season, while Türk Telekom suffered their 7th loss.
