Alperen Şengün among nominees: First results announced for NBA All-Star voting
The first results have been announced for the fan voting for the 2023-2024 season All-Star game in the National Basketball Association (NBA), which will be played on February 18th.
According to an announcement by the NBA, the most preferred player so far is Giannis Antetokounmpo with 2,171,812 votes, followed by LeBron James with 2,008,645 votes.
National basketball player Alperen Şengün, who plays for the Houston Rockets, ranked 7th among the 10 forward players competing for a spot in the Western Conference's starting five in the All-Star game, with 335,115 votes.
The fan voting not only determines the players who will start in the first five of the match but also influences the selection of players.
The voting on the NBA's website will continue until January 20th.
