Peter Crombie, best known for his role as "Crazy Joe Davola" in the sitcom "Seinfeld," has passed away at the age of 71.
American actor Peter Crombie, who appeared in movies like "Natural Born Killer," "Seven," and "House of Frankenstein," died at the age of 71.
Crombie became memorable for his portrayal of "Crazy Joe Davola" in the fourth season of the popular American comedy series "Seinfeld," which aired from 1989 to 1998.
His former wife, Nadine Kijner, confirmed the news on social media, expressing her "shock and deep sorrow" over losing Peter Crombie.
In her post, Nadine Kijner shared photos from their wedding, writing:
"I am shocked and deeply saddened to announce the death of my former husband. Thank you for all the wonderful memories and for being such a good man. Many people loved you because you were kind, selfless, compassionate, and creative."
Kijner revealed that Peter Crombie passed away following a brief illness. However, the cause of death has not yet been disclosed.
She added, "He was the kindest, most caring, most selfless, most thoughtful man. He was loved by everyone, generous, and never spoke ill of anyone."
Peter Crombie joined the cast of "Seinfeld" in 1992 and portrayed "Crazy Joe Davola," a character who terrorized and tormented the show's lead, "Jerry Seinfeld," over five episodes.
