Jennifer Aniston talks about Matthew Perry's positive mindset before passing
Jennifer Aniston has shed light on Matthew Perry's state of mind before his passing.
Matthew Perry, who tragically passed away in late October, was found unconscious at his Los Angeles home.
Despite his well-documented struggles with addiction, Perry was reportedly in a good place before his death. He used his own experiences to help others, even establishing a sober living facility in his Malibu mansion.
The exact cause of Perry's death remains unknown after initial autopsy results were inconclusive.
Aniston, Perry's close friend and "Friends" co-star, revealed in her first post-passing interview that the 54-year-old actor was content and healthy. She said, "He was happy. He had quit smoking, was getting in shape, and was on a journey. He worked so hard."
Aniston shared that she had been texting with Perry on the morning of his passing and emphasized that he wasn't in pain or struggling.
Perry's fellow "Friends" cast members paid tribute at his funeral on November 3. Aniston posted a heartfelt message on social media, describing Perry as part of her "chosen family."
In her tribute, she wrote, "Rest in peace, little brother. You always brightened my day."
