From Bitcoin advocate to crypto-millionaire: Davinci Jeremie's remarkable journey
Back in 2013, Davinci Jeremie, a Chilean enthusiast for Bitcoin, shared a life-altering insight on YouTube: invest as little as $1 in Bitcoin. Now he is attending glamorous events such as the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi.
His message was clear and compelling: "Hold Bitcoin for 10 years and you might become a millionaire. If it drops to zero, you only lose $1." At that time, Bitcoin's value was a modest £92.50 ($116.75), yet it soared to an astounding peak of £48,321 ($61,000) in 2021. Despite his conviction, Jeremie's advice largely went unnoticed.
Reflecting on his journey in a June interview with Coin Telegraph, Jeremie expressed his disappointment at not being the heralded hero of his community. He lamented, "They actually thought I was losing my mind." But as Bitcoin's value skyrocketed, Jeremie's early investment transformed his life. Today, a single Bitcoin is worth around £29,191 ($36,799), validating his foresight and risk-taking.
Jeremie's ascent from a fervent Bitcoin advocate to a crypto-millionaire is nothing short of cinematic. His Instagram is now a showcase of a lavish lifestyle, with travels to opulent destinations like Monte Carlo and Dubai, and attending glamorous events such as the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi. His recent post encapsulates the zeitgeist of the 21st century: "The most common saying... will be: ‘I should have bought some Bitcoin when it was cheaper.’" For Jeremie, that early, seemingly minor investment in Bitcoin has led to a life of extraordinary luxury and adventure.
