Turkiye's industrial production down in June
Manufacturing sub-index down by 6.9% annually and 3.1% on monthly basis in June
Turkiye's industrial production decreased by 4.7% in June on an annually basis, the Turkish Statistical Institute revealed on Friday.
Among sub-indexes, manufacturing index dropped by 6.9% year-on-year in June, TurkStat data showed.
Mining and quarrying index rose by 8.6% and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index increased by 15.2%.
On a monthly basis, industrial production index dropped by 2.1%.
Manufacturing index decreased by 3.1%; while mining and quarrying index increased by 1.8%, and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index increased by 7.8% month-on-month in June.
