Turkish Stocks Open Higher on Thursday

        Turkey's benchmark stock index commenced Thursday at 7,675.35 points, marking a 0.12% increase equivalent to 9.48 points compared to the previous closing.
On Wednesday, the BIST 100 index on Borsa Istanbul had concluded at 7,665.87 points, experiencing a marginal decline of 0.07%. The daily trading volume reached 76 billion Turkish liras ($2.63 billion).
As of 9:55 a.m. local time (0655GMT), the exchange rate for the US dollar against the Turkish lira was 28.6890, with the euro/lira rate standing at 31.0976. The British pound was trading at 35.5667 liras.
Brent crude oil was priced at approximately $80.88 per barrel, while the cost of one ounce of gold stood at $1,969.40.
