Turkish stock exchange rises at opening
The BIST 100 index gained approximately 15.7 points at the start of Tuesday's trading session, opening at 9,147.51 points, an increase of 0.17% from its previous closing.
On Monday, the index closed down 0.26% at 9,131.82 points, with a trading volume of 107 billion Turkish liras ($3.34 billion).
As of 10:15 a.m. local time (0715GMT), the USD/TRY exchange rate stood at 32.0450, the EUR/TRY at 35.0980, and the GBP/TRY at 41.0380.
Gold was priced at $2,182.15 per ounce, and Brent oil stood at approximately $82.55 a barrel.
