Turkish stock exchange rises at Friday's open
Turkey's benchmark stock index started Friday with a 0.35% increase, reaching 9,274.48 points, up by 32.33 points from its last close.

On Thursday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index hit a new record high, closing at 9,242.15 points with a 1.87% gain.
The US dollar to Turkish lira exchange rate stood at 30.8070 as of 10:03 a.m. local time (0703 GMT). The euro was trading at 33.1593 against the lira, and the British pound was worth 38.8048 liras.
Brent crude oil was priced at approximately $82.84 per barrel, and gold was trading at $2,015.45 an ounce.
