Turkish national flag carrier to operate 3 two-way weekly direct flights between Istanbul and Denver
Turkish Airlines has begun flights from Istanbul to Denver, its 14th destination in the US and 347th worldwide, the national flag carrier announced on Wednesday.
Turkish Airlines flew to the new destination on its inaugural flight on Tuesday, and three two-way flights will be operated between Istanbul and Denver each week, the airline said in a statement.
Turkish Airlines will now connect Denver with over 340 destinations in nearly 130 countries around the globe.
From July 9, the frequency will increase to four flights a week, boosting tourism and trade volumes between the two countries.
Denver, the capital and largest city of Colorado state, attracts both domestic and international visitors due to its cultural attractions and hosting of various sporting events.
