BIST 100: The most profitable investment instruments this week
Stocks traded in Borsa Istanbul lost 1.15 percent on average on a weekly basis, the price per gram of gold 0.24 percent, the USD/TL depreciated by 0.05 percent, while the Euro/TL appreciated by 0.02 percen
The BIST 100 index, after seeing the lowest 10,486.70 and the highest 10,824.21 points, completed the week at 10,647.91 points, losing 1.15 percent compared to the previous week's close.
The gram sales price of 24-carat gold bullion traded in the Grand Bazaar decreased by 0.24 percent to 2 thousand 452 liras this week, and the sales price of Turkish Republican gold decreased by 0.67 percent to 16 thousand 200 liras.
The selling price of quarter Turkish Republican gold, which was 4 thousand 90 liras last weekend, decreased to 4 thousand 66 liras.
This week, the US dollar lost 0.05 percent to 32.8170 liras, while the euro rose 0.02 percent to 35.1220 liras.
Mutual funds gained 0.51 percent and private pension funds gained 0.39 percent this week.
According to their categories, "Debt Instruments" funds and "Money Market" funds were the most profitable among mutual funds with 0.94 percent.
