Bayraktar discussed possible cooperation with Kazakh ministers
Minister Bayraktar spoke with Kazakh ministers in Astana, discussing possible collaborations in the fields of energy and mining on Thursday.
Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar shared on his X social media account that he held talks in Astana while attending the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit.
In two separate posts, Minister Bayraktar made the following statements:
"Within the scope of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit, we held a meeting with the Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan, Mr. Almassadam Satkaliyev in Astana. During the meeting, we evaluated the cooperation opportunities we can develop in the field of energy, especially hydrocarbons. We also emphasized the common benefit that the development of interconnection lines will bring on a regional and global scale.
In Astana, we met with Mr. Kanat Sharlapayev, Minister of Industry and Construction of Kazakhstan responsible for mining. We discussed possible cooperation with Kazakhstan's public and private sector companies in Kazakhstan and in our country in the field of mining, especially critical minerals and rare earth elements."
