Turkish stocks up at weekly open
Benchmark index earns some 31.8 points at opening.

Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened the week at 5,244.17 points on Monday, up by 0.61%, or 31.78 points, from the previous close.
On Friday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index was down 0.93% to close the day at 5,212.38, with a daily trading volume of 95 billion liras ($5.01 billion).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was at 18.9025 as of 10.06 a.m. local time (0706GMT), the euro/lira exchange rate stood at 20.1231, while a British pound traded for 22.7404 Turkish liras.
Brent crude oil was selling for around $85.23 per barrel, while the price of an ounce of gold was $1,858.90.
