Protest over election results in Venezuela: 1 Dead
A protest against the results of the presidential election in Venezuela turned deadly, with one person losing their life in clashes between demonstrators and security forces.

During the unrest, one person was fatally shot, and 46 demonstrators were arrested.
Venezuela's Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino Lopez stated on social media that 23 soldiers were injured during the incidents.
Lopez noted that some soldiers were wounded by gunfire, stating, "We will not allow the country to return to the darkness of 2014, 2017, and 2019. Do not take a wrong step."
Meanwhile, Venezuela’s Attorney General Tarek William Saab reported that significant public property damage occurred during the protests and that those responsible would face consequences.
In Venezuela, dozens of people took to the streets, clashing with police, claiming the presidential election results were fraudulent.
Following the conclusion of the elections, the opposition released a statement yesterday, asserting that the data from the National Electoral Council (CNE) was inaccurate and that the results were rigged.
