"Peace Mission" Talks

In a video shared about his meeting with Trump, Orban emphasized that Trump had shown his commitment to peace during his presidency and would do so again.

Following Hungary's assumption of the EU presidency, Orban first made an unexpected visit to Ukraine. Despite criticism from EU leaders, he then met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow, and his third visit was to China.

As part of his "peace mission," Orban had a previous meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Washington, D.C., where he praised Turkey and Erdoğan.
