Following the debate, Biden faced calls to withdraw from the race from various quarters, including Democrats, supporters, and donors. He addressed these issues in his first TV interview with ABC News.

When asked about the debate night, Biden said, "I was very sick, I felt very unwell."

Biden acknowledged having a bad night, saying, "Trump was yelling even with his microphone off. That distracted me. It wasn't the only problem, but I couldn't maintain much control."

When asked if he had rewatched the debate, Biden responded, "No, I don't think I did."

"I AM THE GUY WHO TOOK DOWN PUTIN"

Regarding his trailing in the polls, Biden stated, "I don't believe in the polls."

He claimed no one is more qualified than him to be president, asserting, "I am the most qualified person to beat Trump."

When asked if he sees himself as president for another four years, Biden did not provide a definitive answer but noted his role in uniting NATO, saying, "I am the guy who took down Putin."

Responding to his critics, Biden said those individuals "don't know what they're talking about."

Reaffirming that he will not withdraw from the race, Biden said only God could convince him to do so.

"I GET EXAMINED EVERY DAY"

Biden avoided directly answering whether he would undergo a mental health examination, stating, "Everything I do every day is already an exam."

He emphasized that he is not just running a campaign, but also leading the world, adding, "It might sound like an exaggeration, but it's not. We are the central country in the world."
