Following President Ali Koç's announcement of a "48-hour deadline," Fenerbahçe has reached an agreement with both the Moroccan forward and Sevilla regarding the transfer fee.
Head coach Mourinho, who had En Nesyri at the top of his forward list, persuaded him over the phone. The Fenerbahçe management quickly intensified their negotiations with the player and Sevilla.
Fenerbahçe is set to pay nearly 20 million euros to the Spanish club in several installments for the 27-year-old striker. After lengthy discussions, a four-year contract has been agreed upon with En Nesyri.
The experienced forward will reportedly earn a guaranteed 4 million euros annually. Despite late attempts from some clubs in Saudi Arabia and Italy to sway the player, Fenerbahçe remained steadfast and successfully convinced En Nesyri.
After completing the paperwork between the clubs, En Nesyri is expected to arrive in Istanbul soon, undergo a medical examination, and sign the contract. Last season, the star forward played in 41 matches for Sevilla, starting in 36, scoring 20 goals, and providing 2 assists.
