Fenerbahçe secures advantage away: Lugano 3-4 Fenerbahçe
In the first leg of the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round, Fenerbahçe triumphed 4-3 over Lugano in an away match. The yellow-and-blue team's goals were scored by Bosnian star Edin Dzeko (3) and Ferdi Kadıoğlu.

In the match held at Stockhorn Arena, Fenerbahçe captain Edin Dzeko shined by scoring a penalty in the 45+1 minute, followed by goals in the 46th and 67th minutes. Ferdi Kadıoğlu netted Fenerbahçe's fourth goal in the 73rd minute.
CRUCIAL WIN FOR THE RETURN LEG
Lugano's goals came from Ayman El Wafi in the 4th minute, Urman Bislimi in the 64th minute, and Valenzuela in the 90+3 minute.
With this result, Fenerbahçe has gained a significant advantage to advance to the next round. The return match will be held on Tuesday, July 30, at 20:00 at Ülker Stadium.
