Chelsea finds left-back in MLS: 7-Year deal!

Premier League side Chelsea has reached an agreement with Caleb Wiley, who plays for MLS team Atlanta United.

As the new Premier League season approaches, Chelsea is close to completing another transfer.

According to The Athletic, Chelsea has reached a preliminary agreement with Atlanta United's Caleb Wiley.

The London club will reportedly pay £8.5 million for this transfer and sign a 7-year contract with Wiley.

So far, Chelsea has signed Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Omari Kellyman, Marc Guiu, and Tosin Adarabioyo.

To Be Loaned Out

Following the official completion of the transfer, Chelsea plans to loan Wiley out for the new season.

It is reported that Wiley, who is part of the U.S. National Team for the 2024 Paris Olympics, will be loaned to Ligue 1 side Strasbourg.

The 19-year-old left-back, who was promoted to Atlanta United's first team in the 2021/22 season, has made 22 appearances this season, scoring 1 goal and providing 2 assists.
