Arda Turan referred to football discipline committee for 'threat' charges
Eyüpspor's head coach, Arda Turan, has been referred to the Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK) due to allegations of "threatening" behavior.

In a statement from the Turkish Football Federation (TFF), it was stated: "It has been decided that Eyüpspor coach Arda Turan be referred to the PFDK as of August 12, 2024, due to his 'threatening' actions during the Corendon Alanyaspor-İKAS Eyüpspor Trendyol Süper Lig match held on August 11, 2024, in accordance with Article 41 of the Football Disciplinary Regulations."
How Many Matches Will He Be Suspended?
According to the TFF Disciplinary Regulations, the 41st article under which Arda Turan has been charged is defined as follows:
"Those who insult, swear, threaten, or in any way attack the personal rights of TFF members, match officials, players, managers, or other relevant clubs and individuals, either directly or through the press, broadcast media, or social media:
Players can be suspended for 2 to 5 matches, or if the actions are directed towards match officials, they can be suspended for 3 to 7 matches.
The suspensions from matches, bans from entering locker rooms and the bench, and deprivation of rights specified in this article cannot be converted into monetary fines."
