The CBRT released its weekly monetary and banking statistics, showing that as of June 28, gross foreign exchange reserves fell by $3.662 billion to $84.833 billion. On June 21, these reserves stood at $88.495 billion.
Gold Reserves Also Decrease
During the same period, gold reserves decreased by $1.050 billion, from $59.127 billion to $58.077 billion.
Thus, the total reserves of the Central Bank fell by $4.712 billion in the week ending June 28, from $147.622 billion to $142.910 billion.
